Casual Gaming AI Companion

An AI Sidekick for Roblox, Minecraft, and Whatever You're Playing for Fun

Casual gaming isn't easy mode — it's the way most people actually play. You want help when you ask, silence when you don't, and a voice that doesn't lecture you about strategy when you just wanted to vibe. Sidekick AI sees your screen, answers when you call on it, and shuts up the moment you say so. It works for Roblox, Minecraft, and any other PC game you play to relax.

How It Works

Helps With What You Asked, Not What It Thinks You Need

Sidekick AI answers the question you actually asked. If you ask 'where's the iron?' it tells you where the iron is — not a lecture about optimal mining strategy. The default behavior is responsive, not advisory. About a third of Sidekick conversations come from casual sessions where the user wants quick answers and minimal commentary.

Shuts Up When You Tell It To

Voice command or hotkey — 'be quiet,' 'pause,' or a single key bind — and Sidekick stops talking until you call it back. No five-minute apology, no 'are you sure?' confirmation. The companion respects the silence the moment you ask for it. This is intentional: casual play is interrupted enough by notifications and chat overlays already.

Sees the Game You're Playing

Vision AI watches your screen, so you can ask 'what is this thing?' or 'how do I open this?' without describing it. Works with Roblox experiences, Minecraft worlds, indie games, browser games — anything that runs on your PC. The companion identifies what's on screen and answers in plain language, not a tutorial.

Voice-First, So Your Hands Stay on the Controls

Talk to Sidekick out loud while you're mid-jump or mid-build. Audio comes through your headset; the avatar can stay hidden in compact or audio-only mode if you don't want a window on screen. No typing, no alt-tab, no break in what you're doing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Sidekick AI work with Roblox?
Yes. Sidekick AI runs as a desktop companion that watches your screen, so it works with Roblox the same way it works with any other PC game — through vision AI on whatever's on display. It can identify the experience you're in, help with quests, explain mechanics, and answer 'what does this button do' style questions. Sidekick doesn't run inside Roblox itself — it watches your screen alongside it.
Does it work with Minecraft?
Yes. Sidekick AI watches your Minecraft screen and answers questions about what you're seeing — biomes, mobs, recipes, redstone setups, structures. It works with Java Edition, Bedrock Edition, and modded clients (the AI sees the screen, so the version doesn't matter). For complex builds, ask Sidekick to walk you through step-by-step in your headset while you stay focused on what your hands are doing.
Will the AI talk over my friends in voice chat?
No. Sidekick speaks through your headset on a separate audio channel, and you control when it talks. Set it to push-to-talk, or use voice commands ('Sidekick, look at this' to invoke; 'Sidekick, quiet' to dismiss). Your Discord or in-game voice chat with friends is unaffected — Sidekick only speaks when you ask it to.
Can a parent set up Sidekick AI for a younger player?
Yes. Sidekick AI is designed for shared family setups — the account owner controls voice, persona, content settings, and conversation memory. Parents can pick a companion persona suited to their kid (a friendly guide, a quiet helper) and review the conversation memory at any time. Sidekick doesn't ask for personally identifying information, doesn't initiate adult content, and stays inside game and gameplay topics by default. Note: Sidekick AI is rated for general PC use; the Steam launch will follow standard age-rating guidance for the platform.
Can I tell the AI to be quiet?
Yes — and that's a first-class feature, not a workaround. Voice command ('Sidekick, be quiet'), a single hotkey, or muting from the system tray all work. Casual gaming users tend to want responsive help on demand and quiet otherwise; Sidekick is tuned to that pattern. Unmuting is just as fast — the avatar comes right back when you ask.
Does Sidekick spoil things in the game?
Only if you ask it to. The default coaching mode is hint-first: you ask 'how do I open this chest?' and Sidekick gives a nudge ('have you tried using a key?'), not the answer. If you want the answer, ask for it directly ('just tell me where the key is'). For exploration-heavy games like Minecraft or open-world Roblox experiences, hint-first is the default — Sidekick won't accidentally walk you to the loot.
Is it safe for kids to use?
Sidekick AI is built with a content filter that keeps the companion in age-appropriate territory — no adult content, no profanity, no roleplay outside the gaming companion frame. The AI is trained to redirect off-topic conversations rather than engage with them. That said, an AI companion is a parent's call to evaluate for their own family. Sidekick AI is currently aimed at PC gamers in the 13+ range; younger players should use it with adult oversight.
