Margit's final form
Morgott is Margit evolved. Every delayed attack you learned in Stormveil is still here, plus new holy weapons that extend his combos, a cursed tail that sweeps behind him, and a phase 2 that opens with blood rain and never stops pressuring.
This is Margit but faster. Same delays on the basic combos. Watch for the new holy hammer, it has longer reach than the dagger. Don't roll early.
Phase 1: holy weapons
Morgott mixes physical sword attacks with holy weapon conjurations. The holy spear has deceptive range. The holy hammer has a wide sweep. Both are delayed.
What to watch for
- Holy spear thrust. Longer range than it looks. Roll to the side, not backward.
- Holy hammer sweep. Wide arc, dodge through it toward him.
- Cursed tail. He uses it when you're behind him. Don't stay at his back too long.
- Standard sword combos. Same Margit delays. Punish after the full chain.
Spear incoming. Roll sideways, not back. It reaches further than you think. After the thrust, you have a clean punish window.
Phase 2: blood curse
At around 50% health, Morgott stabs himself and erupts with cursed blood. He opens with a blood rain that covers a wide area, then becomes more aggressive with faster combos and cursed ground attacks.
Surviving phase 2
- Sprint during blood rain. Don't try to block or dodge in place.
- His combos are longer but the recovery windows are also longer.
- Cursed ground lines appear after some attacks. Step out of them.
- Margit's Shackle stops working in phase 2.
Blood rain. Sprint left and keep moving. It tracks you but it's slow. Don't stop, don't attack, just move until it ends.
Summary
Morgott rewards players who learned from Margit. The delays are the same, the punish windows are the same, but everything hits harder and there's more to track. Phase 2 demands respect but also gives longer openings after big attacks. Sidekick AI helps here by calling out which holy weapon is coming so you can pick the right dodge direction without memorizing every animation.
